I Dreamed
by WitchBard
Last night, I dreamed of a wise old owl
Flying through the forest of my tears.
She wispered in my ear the secrets
That washed away my longing fears.
Then I soared by her side with delight
Until we came to an old grizzly bear.
He commanded me to pay tribute to him
And the price if I did not would I wear.
So I whispered in his ear the secrets
Which was more than he could bear.
This morning I awoke to the birds singing
And instantly felt troubled by my dreaming.
